The supremely gifted John Wilson and his wonderful orchestra are touring again this autumn and luckily for those of us in Glasgow he's stopping off on the 24th of October at The Royal Concert Hall. If that wasn't incentive enough to go, one of the featured vocalists is the rather lovely and fantastically talented Julian Ovenden (below). Tickets are available now from Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and via John Wilson and Julian Ovenden's websites.
The music featured this year is from the songbooks of Rodgers & Hammerstein and Rodgers & Hart. It promises to include music from; Oklahoma, Carousel, South Pacific, The King & I and The Sound of Music. See you there.
