A few months back I blogged about the national tour of Buddy The Musical. This time it's Buddy the miniature sized version. Performed by 11-16 year olds at Dalziel High School's show!
I had a few reasons to get tickets to this; to see past pupils of mine take on this well-loved musical; to see how it could possibly compare to the "grown up" adult sized production and because I'd had a sneak preview at another show of the pint-sized performer who was tackling the role of Buddy - and boy was I impressed.
It doesn't seem possible that a 15 year old could pull off playing one of the most loved performers in the world of rock and roll but Dale Crombie had star quality oozing from every pore and retained a professional focus throughout.
