Legally Blonde - First National Tour Theatre Royal Glasgow

Saw this yesterday...
Legally Blonde the Musical  tells the story of college sweetheart Elle Woods who doesn’t take no for an answer. So when boyfriend Warner dumps her for someone else she stops shopping, starts reading and heads for Harvard Law School with her chihuahua  Bruiser

Faye Brookes (Grease) takes the lead role of Elle the engaging homecoming queen with big ambitions and is a competent singer and dancer.
Ex-Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon equips herself very well as manicurist Paulette,
Hollyoaks' Neil Toon (Les Miserables) is law student Warner, Iwan Lewis (Fame, Passion) plays Emmett, Sophie Isaacs is Margot and seasoned West End actor Dave Willetts (Les Misérables, Phantom of The Opera, Sunset Boulevard) is Professor Callaghan.

This is as pink and fluffy as you would expect but for all that it was genuinely laugh out loud funny. The choreography was pin-sharp and it's probably one of the biggest scale and most professional production I've seen outside the West End. Not a weak link anywhere on stage. The only complaint was that the show does take about half an hour to warm up (as did a few of the voices, and the audience as a result), but once it got going it was well worth the ticket price.
