V&A
After the Diaghilev exhibition at the V&A I decided to have a wander around some of the rest of the collections. Wander was certainly the word or should I say stumble blindly. Despite frequent consultation of the floor plans I found it almost impossible to find any of the numbered rooms from the plan - logical thought is evidently not high on the skills of the museum's directors. At one point I felt as if I was in one of those Gothic horror movies, where, no matter which corner you turn, you either end up back where you started or at a dead end. The pervading feeling of gloom wasn't helped by the fact the majority of the collection is "high Victorian" and a lot of the building is almost pitch dark with not another soul around. Still loved it though...
