I completely missed this when it was on TV - I wish I'd seen it earlier as it's a total gem. It's an ingenious re-invention of Pride and Prejudice. Hopeless romantic Amanda Price finds Elizabeth Bennet in the bathroom of her London flat. Amanda passes through the portal into the 'real' world of the Bennet family but how can she keep the greatest love story in English fiction on track with Elizabeth Bennet stuck in modern London. Jemima Rooper is absolutely watchable in everything she's in and the rest of the cast are pitch perfect. Watch out for Tom Riley as utter bounder George Wickham he steals every scene he's in.
